From time to time I get a pop-up message labeled "Cannot Connect - Dialed #777 - Network service is temporary unavailable, please try again later. If problem continues, please tap 'settings' to review your data connection settings." Can anyone help me out with this?

Sounds like Data Connection is turned to off, go to "Notification" area by pressing top bar, then click antenna button next to "Verizon Wireless" (This open Comm Manager) and then click "Internet Connection" 

When this connection it disabled under Comm Manager the internet will not reconnect until it is toggled..

Hope this solves you issue....
