I am trying to figure out how to backup my contacts to my computer.  Cannot figure it out at all.  Also it would be nice if i could go in and edit contact information from my computer as a full size keyboard is much easier and faster to work with.  Mostly i just want a backup copy though.  I tried the "windows mobile device center" but i dont have microsoft outlook, and it seems to require that program.

I would greatly appreciate any and all suggestions.  Thanks in advance.

Outlook would make it simple but if you do not have the office application you might can try NS Contacts 1.0 at http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/Desktop-and-Shell/Windows/NS-Contacts-31407.shtml, I haven't tried it myself but appears to do what you want to do, but also there is a number of pay applications that would work better but this is a starting point for you...

Change is good and customizing is better, but always remember that backing up should still be the first golden rule...

edit contacts on pc is more easily than on a touch screen! Grin
Here I'd like to share my experience:I installed this Microsoft Mobile Contact to PC Transfer  program called GodswMobile Contact Transfer in my mobile phone and transfer all my contacts from my phone to my computer.
Transfer contacts from windows mobile to pc;
- Transfer both SIM card contacts, Outlook contacts and mobile contacts;
- Restore contacts to another Windows Mobile;
- An application enclosed for Windows computer to view, add, delete, modify and print contacts;
- Save and restore contacts in case of phone crash or lost;
- Backup contacts as TXT file and CTS file;
- Backup contacts long with contact photos and ringtones.
