All Windows Mobile based phones look to a certain folder for ring tones. You have to place whatever song you want as your ring tone in that folder. Connect your phone to your computer and go to the following location

Computer or My Computer\PhoneName\\\My Documents\My Ringtones

You can also to it through Files Explorer if your computer isn't handy and the file's already on your phone.

1. Launch Files Explorer and navigate to where the audio file is located.

2. Tap and hold until a dialog box pops up.

3. Choose "copy."

4. Navigate to the "My Ringtones" folder.

5. Again, tap and hold until a dialog pops up.

6. Choose "paste."

You'll then be able to use that file as a ringtone.
