Is there a combination of the front buttons that will perform a soft reset? Why on earth did HTC put the soft reset under the back cover?   I have a software soft reset but sometimes my device freezes and I have to remove the cover. I have to use tools to remove it. With Windows Mobile Devices the reset button should always be easy to access.

The only thing close to a soft reset that can be accessed from the front buttons is the Quick list that can be pulled up by pressing far right button (Phone Hangup) and holding it, on this menu  you can shutdown but this may not function if unit locks... Also about removing back cover, just press lightly on the trim of camera while prying on cover and it should comes off easily..

Change is good and customizing is better, but always remember that backing up should still be the first golden rule...

Thank you, I do have a soft reset app. that I use. I was just looking for a button combination if possible when the device freezes. When it freezes, I can't get to the reset software, nor can I use the call end button to turn off. Since my 1st post I have replaced that phone and rarely need to reset. I think the device was faulty.
Thanks for the input.

Wow,

I know this is slightly off topic, but the tip for pressing the Camera trim to aid in removing the back cover works GREAT....

Thank you
