I don't think it's the phone's fault. I think the specific application itself has to be written with reorientation code, or else it'll just present itself in portrait mode.

I agree with na5m but it does seem odd that the HTC Touch Pro2 is designed to handle switching to widescreen mode. When the keyboard is open, makes no sense that this phone wouldn't... but it's true.

That would be nice. At least turn off the sound when a text is sent. There is no direct option in the sound settings to turn it off.

when i send a text the annoying part is that i normally start doing something else right after and then the stupid sent notification pops up and s#&t gets crazy!! I found that changing this key to 0 makes it pop up like the new text preview bubble at the bottom of the screen. but i cant get it to go away.

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings. Change "SMSNoSentMsg" to a 0
