What a COOL phone. Now if I can only figure it out! Wish there was a way to make the keyboard full screen.

Unfortunately the keyboard cannot be used in widescreen for all aspects of the interface. Internet browsing with Opera (default browser) is a good example of where it can be used. Texting and emailing, which seems a perfect time to go widescreen, is not possible.

I am starting to get the hang of the keyboard. The touch screen is so responsive that I use the corner of a fingernail and can actually type fast and accurate. Not quite an iphone, but close. Now if Win 6.5 were faster.

Id say WM is fine, it's just that it's too intense for this processor. The HD2 which will be the big brother of this phone will sport the same specs but with a 1GHz processor.

Will the HTC HD2 be released in the US and work on the 3G network? I have a few online sites that are selling but all are saying they run on EDGE or UMTS network only.
If the HD2 would run on the 3D network I would buy one in a heartbeat!
Thanks!

As far as I know, it is a world phone just like the Imagio and will be available (eventually) on all major carriers. T-mobile probably first, then Sprint, then Verizon and AT&T

By the time it gets to Verizon, there'll be something even better. That HD2 sure does look like a sweet phone, though.
I'd really love an HD2 (or better) on Verizon running WinMo 7. Looks like at least a year before that'll be possible ...

I believe you're correct, but I've also seen rumors that it might be one of the few 6.5 phones capable of upgrading to 7 once it comes out.

Will run, not running. It'll ship with WM 6.5 and most likely be upgradeable near the end of the year or beginning 2011 since WM 7 is coming out the end of 2010, and we all know how slow they are at releasing updates for phones.
