Newbie to Forums and to HTC-Imagio

OK you younger folks, I'm 63 and trying this new age phone out. Will need some help! Still getting use to the touch screen which seems to "dial numbers" and "do things on its own" when in my pockets or computer bag... grrrrrhh!!!

Other things I've noticed already... battery only lasts about a day! And, my screen display stays dimly lit even when in the "locked" mode. That's gotta be eating the battery. Any hints here for the newbie??
